FREE ADVICE FROM THE NATURAL MEDICINE CENTRE

Free advice to enquiries e mailed to the Natural Medicine Centre website is given by Richard Allport, BVetMed, VetMFHom, MRCVS.There is no charge for answers to enquiries about natural medicines, healthy lifestyle and natural diets for your pet.

Richard can give general advice about natural health and natural medicines for pets. Ethically, advice about specific in depth treatment of an individual pet can only be given by a full consultation, see details about the Centre below.

The Natural Medicine Centre is situated just off junction 24 of the M25, and so is easily accessible by road from most of the South and East. Potters Bar also has a rail station with frequent service from London, Cambridge, Peterborough and many other main stations. However, travelling to the centre can present problems, so we do offer consultations at a distance. Naturally some therapies, such as acupuncture and osteopathy, require the therapist and patient to be together! But we do offer distance (absent) healing from Helen Hilliard, our spiritual healer; and you can consult Richard Allport by e mail about your pet’s problems for treatment with homoeopathy, herbs, flower essences and supplements, if you have no qualified holistic veterinary surgeon available within reasonable travelling distance. In addition our canine nutritionist, Ros Walters can advice on healthy natural diets for dogs by post.

For absent healing, call the centre on 01707 662058 to arrange a telephone consultation with Helen.

For advice on canine nutrition, call us on 01707 662058 for details.

Distance consultations with Richard are avialable by e mail. For ethical reasons, your own veterinary practice will need to provide a copy of the medical records of your pet to Richard and agree to him treating your pet.

This agreement and the records may be posted, faxed, or e mailed.

We will also need you to complete a patient record form - a questionnaire about your pet – this can be e mailed to you or you can download it HERE. Richard can then give advice on natural remedies and supplements which are likely to help with the problems from which your pet is suffering.

Dose rates will be advised.

If any remedies mentioned are unavailable locally, they can be supplied by the Natural Medicine Centre.

Advice given in this manner is never as good as seeing the patient at a consultation. However, many patients have been successfully helped by such ‘long distance’ advice.

There is a fee of £76.00 (British pounds sterling) for this service. Payment should be made by credit card or debit card, unless a cheque made out in British pounds sterling is available, or a bank transfer is set up.

Card details may be posted, faxed, ‘phoned, or you can buy the consultation online at this secure site.

For any follow up advice, a fee of £19.00 to £38.00 is charged, depending on the time taken and complexity of the problem. Please note that it is a condition of any agreement to provide advice that the agreement is subject to the jurisdiction of UK law only.
